The Saint Clements Foundation is a non-profit company that was created to preserve and restore the Saint Clements’ estate. In 1993, Reverend Edward Doherty donated the estate to the Foundation in order to ensure the 82 acres would remain untouched by commercial development. He envisioned that the manor and grounds would continue to be enjoyed for generations to come. The Foundation was charged with the responsibility of preserving the manor home, its gardens, its courtyards and its priceless art treasures and antiques.
In order to fund the restoration and preservation, the estate has been made available for weddings, banquets, social gatherings, business meetings and corporate retreats. In addition, the Foundation gives back to its community by sponsoring events for charitable groups and purposes on the grounds, ensuring that the public is able to enjoy the open land with its sweeping riverfront views.
